MANSLAUGHTER.
ACCUSED RE-ARRESTED

CHRISTCHURCH, Sunday
James Russell, who ou Thursday •was charged at Amberley with the .manslaughter of George Henry Shaw, at Leithfield, on 2Dtli December last, and the charge against whom was dismissed by the Justices of the Peace who beard it, was arrested yesterday, aud brought before Mr H. \V. Bishop, S.M.. and again charged with manslaughter. He pleaded not guilty, and was remanded to January 18th at Amberley. Bail was fixed, accused iv £-JOO aud two sureties each of a similar sum. Bail was forthcoming. The prosecution was a private one, tho information having been laid by David Shaw, father of deceased.
