The following matches will te played for the opening of the season to-morrow :—
"Major Cup".—Excelsior v. Post and Teleg.ah, at the Lausdowne No. 1 ground ; referee, Mr Rosson. St. Matthew's v. Carterton, at Carterton; referee. Mr O'Meara.
"Bootn Cup".—Martinborough v. Elxcelsior. at Greytown ; referee, Mr Dryden. St. Mathew's v. Carterton, at "Lansdowne No. 2 ground ; referee, Mr Mcintosh.
The following team will represent the Excelsior juuiors against Martinborough at Greytown ro-morrovv :— Lawrence, Flaws, Hoar. Eraser, Tait, Tempest, Lout,'. Fly, Ward, Weaver, Tory Ratima. Kmergeucies—G. Ohallis ("forward) Rangi Norman (back). The drag will leave Raukius corner at 1.15 p. m. sharp. * - .
