Press Association—Electric Telegraph—Copyright, Received Tuesday, at 9.20 p.m.

PEKING, Tuesday.

Two hundred deaths are occurring daily from plague at Fuhianchow, and 300 daily at Harbin. China is addressing a circular to the Powers, asking them to send experts to investigate the plague outbreaks. China will defray the expenses, including travelling and maintenance. The scourge is not borne by rats, but appears to be due to contact with carcases, and is also carried by bears. The outbreak occurs in cold weather in places where it was hitherto unknown, and is causing apprehension.
