Messrs Abraham aud Williams, Ltd., report ou their Pahiatua sale, held yesterday, as follows:—Sheep were yarded fully up to advertised numbers, close on 10,000 coming forward. The yarding of cattle was also exceptionally large, youug steers ami bullocks selling especially well. The sheep yarded realised good values, and wo have to report practically a, total clearance. The" N.Z. Loan aud Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., held their weekly stock sale in the Pahiatua yards yesterday. They report:—We had a good entry of sheep and a medium entry of cattle. Prices compared favourably with late rates. We quote :—Sheep— Two-tooth to f.m. ewes 9s Gd, s.m. ewes os to Gs, rams lGs to I%'gus. Cattle—Weaners 15s to 20s Gd, store cows £2 los to £3 2s Gd. Horses to £5 os.
