Messrs Abraham aud Williams, Ltd., report ou their Pahiatua sale, held yesterday, as follows:—Sheep were yarded fully up to advertised numbers, close on 10,000 coming forward. The yarding of cattle was also exceptionally large, youug steers ami bullocks selling especially well. The sheep yarded realised good values, and wo have to report practically a, total clearance. Quotations.—Two audi-tooth ewes, small, 10s Sd to lis 6d; 4-tooth to four-year ewes, 12s to 13s 8d ; good 4 aud 5-year ewes, lis to lis (id; medium 4 and 5-year ewes 9s 7d to 10s S)d ; souud month ewes, 7s to Ss Sd ; aged ewes, 5s to Gs 8d ; good ewe lambs, 10s; good lambs, 7s Id to 7s 3d ; small lambs, 4s (5d to os 6d; cull lambs, 3s Del to 4s Id; 2 aud 4tooth wethers, 12s 3d ; small wethers, 0s to 0s 8d; Lincoln rams, l^gns; aged Romney rams lj- 4 'gna to forward bullocks, £5 S)s (id to £5 los; 3-year steers, £4 4s to £5 2s (!d; 18----month steers, £3 !)s; heifers in calf, £3 10s, £3 los to £3 (ss; weaner Jeisey cross heifers, 375; forward cows, £3 lSls; store cows, 35s to £2 os; cows aud calves, £3 fS's; bulls, 25s to £2 10s.

Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having held their usual fortnightly sale at Pahiatua ou Tuesday, when they offered fully up to advertised numbers, both of cattle aud sheep. There was keen competition for all classes of stock, and they report a total clearance except one lot of sheep. They quote as follows :—Two and fourtooth ewes 9s 8d to 10s 3d, six-tooth ewes 13s to 13s 2d, six aud eight-tooth ewes lis Id to 12s 2d, four and fiveyear owes 7s Sd to 9s 2d, mixed aged poor-eonditioued Gs 8d to 7s, lambs 7s to 8s 3d, rams 10s Gd to l.%t'gus. Cattle —Three-year steers to £5, springing heifers £3 12s Gd to £4 3s Gd, empty forward heifers £3 18s to £4 3s Gd, 18-montns heifers iv calf £2 10s, Jersey 2;)a<-year heirers iv calf £4 10s. The" N.Z. Loan aud Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., held their weekly stock sale in the Pahiatua yards yesterday. They report:—We had a good entry of sheep and a medium entry of cattle. Prices compared favourably with late rates. We quote :—Sheep— Two-tooth to f.m. ewes 9s Gd, s.m. ewes os to Gs, rams lGs to I%'gus. Cattle—Weaners 15s to 20s Gd, store cows £2 los to £3 2s Gd. Horses to £5 os.
