FIREWORKS DISPLAY.
Amongst many novelties to be presented at next Tuesday's lisplay of fireworks iv the Park Oval, it is promised that one of cho finest will be the representation of a waterfall. This is claimed to be a remarkably five set which never fails to win the admiration of the public. Another realistic exhibition will be the representation of a peacock, which by a mechanical device is seen to spread its tail, disclosing colours of brilliant aud varied hue. x\ beautiful star is next to be shown, aud after it has faded away, a rapidly revolving chromatope will be seen shedding a shower of golden sparKs. This iv turn is followed by a Scottish thistle, and various other set pieces.
