A certain overseer had some uieu working under him, but owiug to the shortage of work he had to dismiss a few, so goiug up to an Irishman, he said: "I'm very sorry, Mike, but I'll have to sack yon." "Shure, sorr," replied Mike, "why don't yer sack, Flauuigau? Ut's Mm that's the cause of it all. He does as much, wurk in a day as I do in a week.''
