llr The Department of Industries aud Commerce has received the following cable from the High Commissioner, dated London. 14th March: — The butter market is unsettled, Copeuhageu quotations being unexpectedly lowered by five kroner. The choicest New Zealaud is bringing 118s. Danish 120s. The cheese market is dull aud temporarily depressed, as the result of heavy arrivals. W/ite . makes are quoted at 60s to ._, coloured 62s per cwt.
