SWIMMING NOTES.
In order that interest shall not lapse the Mastertou Swimming Club intends to hold, duriug the winter mouths, a series of lectures under the auspices of the Royal Life-aviug Society, with which Ma.ertou Club is affiliated. The instructors will be local medical men, who are members of the Society. Dances will also be given at intervals, to keep the members together. Mr W. 1-I. Jackson has now tw T o
huudred boys and two hundred girls, iJH-pupils of tlle Mastertou District High School, receiving instruction in swimming at the Municipal Baths.
