WEDDINGS.
SCOTT—WATSON
A wedding which created considerable interest was solemuized at Knox Church, yesterday, when Miss Maud Watson, only daughter of Mr George Watson, the well-known and popular Homcbush settler, was married to Mr T. V. Scott, fourth sou of Mr T. H. Scott, of Havelook, Marlborough. The bride was given away by her father, Mr B. McKee, of Wellington, acting as best mau, and Mr H. Remington, cousin of the bride, as groomsman. The bridesmaids were Misses Wilton (3) and Miss Doris Remington, cousins of the bride, the dresses of the bridal party being of a very charming description. The Rev. A. T. Thompson was the officiating minister. After the ceremony, which was witnessed by a numerous congregation of friends and relatives, a reception was held at the Foresters' Hall, which was largely attended, ancl at which the customary toasts were honoured. The wedding presents were on an unusually elaborate and costly scale, and showed the esteem in which the parties aro held. The honeymoon is being spent at Havelock.
