STOCK SALES.

Messrs Dalgety and Go., Ltd., report as follows:—We held our Eketahuua sale on Friday. More sheep came forward than were advertised. Biddiug was brisk uuder the hammer, and every head was sold. We quote: —Ewes with latnbs at foot to 25s 2d ; ewe hoggets, 18s to £1 Is 2d; wether hoggets, 18s 10d to 20s; mixedhoggets, 16s l)d to 17s 7d ; cull hoggets, to 14s 8d; shorn hoggets to 14s 4d. Cattle—3-year steers £4 10s; springing cows, aged, £3 10s; 16-mouths steers, 41s; sow and pigs, £3 ss; slips to 17s (5d ; dogs to 245. Messrs Dalgety and Co,. Ltd, report having held a private sale on account of Mr A. Smith, of Rougokokako, on Thursday, November 7th. Bidding was brisk right through the sale. They quote—Ewes and lambs 27s Id; cows averaged £5 Is; bull, £3; horses, £25 ss; sow in pig £2 6s; slips, 23s to 245, geese, 5s per pair; dogs to £5 10s; traps to £17; harness and sundries brought good values.
