The Supreme Court emened this morning, Judge Ce)oper presiding.
His Honor, charging the Grand Jury, reterring to the charges of ineleceutly assaulting little girls and indecent assaults in general, he regretted that there Avas never a sitting of the Supreme Court in his criminal jurisdiction during the last few years Avhere there had not been one or more charges of this nature. It Avas certainly remarkable that men Avill interfere indecently Avith girls. No bill AA T as returned in the case eif Jas. PoAver, ou a charge of theft. Harold Bay pleaded guilty to false pretences, and was sentenced to tAvo years. William Alfred Hallmond, a youth, Avas found guilty of horse stealing, Avith a recommendation to probation, and not girilty on charges of breaking and entering. On the charge of theft sentence was deferreel. Henry Walters, married, pleaded guilty to indecent exposure and remanded for the Probation Officer's report.
