Turkish Soldiers Jump Overboard in Suez Canal.

(Received Last Night, at 9.55 -p.m.) PORT SAID, Yesterday. When the Turkish transport Hodesdah was passing through the Suez Canal, three hundred soldiers jumped overboard at the Bitter Lakes. All escaped inland but ten, who were shot or drowned.

(Bitter Lakes, Great and Small, form part of the Suez Canal. The small lake is six miles north of Suez, Egypt, and the larger lies between that lake and Lake Timsah).
