(Received To-day, at OA'J a.m.) London, Last Night,
North Island mutton, 4!d ; River Plate, 3 11-16 d. The market is practically bare of lambs, no New Zealand offering.
The hemp market is quiet, there being about 10s decline.
Rabbits are flat. Hares are firmer, owing to the prospect of short supplies for Christmas ; Is lid is being asked for new colonials. Copra is weak and irregular, with more inquiry for the South Sea product, owing to relative cheapness of steamer shipment. Parcels sold at 235.
Twelve thousand quarters of Victorian January wheat have been sold at 29s 9d.
