MACMAHON'S DRAMATIC COMPANY.
No expense or trouble is being spared by the Messrs MacMahon to make the presentation a memorable one, of the fascinating and stirring Australian bushranging play, " The Kelly Gang," which will be produced at the Town Hall on Monday evening next. Apart from the many exciting incidents and situations in the drama being powerfully delineated, the scenic elects will be presented on a scale of completeness hitherto unattempted in Masterton. To give additional realisation to the "great race scene," and tbe " sticking up of the mail coach," eight horses will be brought into requisition. Other novel scenes include the robbery of the bank at Euroa, the murder of Constables Kennedy and Conaigan, the shooting of Sherritt, the i former, the burning of the Glenrowan hotel, and the capture of the ironclad bushranger. The success of " The Kelly Gang" as produced by the MacMahon Dramatic Company, has been of the most pronounced character, and the presentation on Monday next seems destined to attract the whole theatre-going community. The Company conclude a splendidly gratifying season of nineteen nights at the, Wellington Opera House on Saturday next. It is announced that seats may be secured booking fee at Miss Rive's, where the box plan is now open.
