A barberry hedge has been cut, and the trimmings have evidently been left, and now, covered as they are with thorns, they are scattered far and Avide. The umvary cyclist Avho ventures in that direction is apt to use language unfit for publication when he discovers, not one, but several punctures. —I am, etc., " Cyclist." Manaia, 14th May, 1906.
