Reduction Carried at Manukau

It is understood that the Manukau Returning Ollicer has consulted with Wellington as to the effect of 113 informal votes on a majority of about eighty favouring reduction, and that the reply is to the effect that reduction is carried by 84 votes.
The decision will probably be contested
