EKETAHUNA NEWS.
(Special to Daily Times.)
A mounted parade of the Eketahuna Mounted Rifles, for the purpose of Government inspection, was held on Thursday, Captain Herbert commanding. There was a full muster of the Corps, who were put through field exercises in the afternoon and foot drill in the evening, in the Public Hall. Sergeant Walden was appointed Acting-Sergeant-Major and Corporal Fanner Act-ing-Quartsr-master-Sergeant.
