Eketahuna Stock Sale.
Messrs Dalgety and Go., Ltd., held their fortnightly sale at Eketahuna yesterday, when there was a good yarding of sheep and dairy stock. The sheep sold up to fa", values, and although a large number of dairy cows and heifers were disposed of, several lots failed to find purchasers. The timber, specially advertised, attracted considerable attention, and all lots sold under the hammer at satisfactory prices. In sheep, ewes and lambs reached 225; hoggets, 15s Id to 15s 2d; culls, 7s. Best dairy heifers, £5, others, £3 10s to £4 10s ; springing cows, £3 12s Gd to £5. Fowls, 3s Gd per po ; r.
