London Markets.
Dalgety and Co., Ltd., Wellington, have received the following cablegrams from their London ollice, dated 7th instant:---" Frozen meat in general—prices are unchanged. Market dull." " Since date of our last telegram, tallow in general is unchanged." " Butter-Market unsettled. Buyers are operating less freely. The Copenhagen official quotation is unchanged. Total imports of butter into the United Kingdom for the week ending 2nd September, 99,000 cwt. as compared with 73,000 cwt, same period last year, showing an increase of 26,000 cwt, More demand for unsaltcd than salted. Secondary and stale difficult of sale. Do not expect any important change in prices for the present."
