SOME NEW DEFINITIONS.
A clever writer (says tlie " Physical Culture Magazine ") has written a dictionary of his own" A few of his definitions of words are as follow :— Athlete: A dignified bunch of muscles, unable to split wood or sift the ashes. vHI
Alcohol: A liquid, good for preserving almost everything except secrets. Biliousness: A liver complaint, often mistaken for piety. Obesity: A surplus gone to waist, Worry : A state of mind that leads some persons to fear, every time the tide goes out, that it won't come in again.
