Meeting ot Committee
A meeting of the General Committee of the Masterton A. and P. Association was held in Messrs Lowes and lorns' Farmers' llootu, on Saturday. There were about fifteen members present, and Mr F. C. Lewis (President) occupied the chair. Apologies for absence were received from Messrs J. Stuckey, F. Hill and 11. F. E. Beetham.
The Gun Club were granted permission to use the Showgrounds for a pigeon match, subject to the usual conditions.
A letter was received from Mr W. H t Booth, suggesting a class for bull calves in connection with Shorthorns and Jerseys.—Placed on the Suggestion Book.
Mr Charles Leggett, Wellington, was appointed to represent the Association as delegate to the New Zealand Kennell Olub for Dunedin.
Four resignations were received. Committees were appointed as follows : —Finance Committee — Messrs "W. Perry, Ct. C. Sumtnsrell and J. D. Crui'ckshaok; Ground Committee — Messrs W. McKenzic, F. Moore, C. H, Smitb : W. Perry, D. J. Cameron, and D. McGregor jnr. ; Luncheon Committee —Messrs W. Perry, I. Sykes and Jas. McGregor ; Barn Fair Gotnmittee —Messrs F. Hill and D. J. Cameron; Pad docking Committee — Messrs I. Sykes, It. J. Da™, Bland Itayner and l>. McGregor, jnr. ; Printing Committee —Messrs G. C. Summere!! and J. D. Cruickshank.
A special meeting of lbs Committee will be held on September ord, at 10 o'clock, to draw up the schedule for the Show.
It was decided to- hold the Stallion Parade on the third Saturday in September, as in previous years. The 1905 Show dates were fixed i'or February 14th and 15th.
