Grand National Meeting.

Chyustchurch, Saturday. Following arc additional results : —

Sydenham Hurdle Handicap, 1$ inile. —Hippowai 1, Cavalry 2, Huku 3. Also started—Tupara, Medallius, Scottish Minstrel, Haukapu, Lissa, (Jathenno Gordon, Zealous, Merry Boy and Talune. Tupara fell early, and at the mile post Hippowai showed the way just clear of Zealous. Entering the straight Zealous fell back and CavaL'y, Huku and Catherine Gordon moved up. In a great race Hippowai lasted Jong enough to win by half a length from Cavalry, Huku being a similar distance «uvay. Time, 3min 22 2 £>see. Dividends, £7 8s and £2 Ms 6d.

Heathcote Handicap, 7 furlongs. Loch Erin 1, Secret Society 2, J_j9e EnfieJd 3. Also started—-Canmo Chiel, Fleka, Dolarey, Blackstone, Waitarere, Juniper, Bandmaster, Hinekoa, Tukapa, Royal Crowu, Speculate, Trent Bridge and Shellfire. AVon by half a head, a srood head between second and third. Time, lmiu Sisec. Dividends, £11 Gs an<3 £1 1 03 GH.

Lincoln Steeplechase, about 2i miles.—Eclair 1, Haydn 2, Pipi 3. Also started— Phaetonitis, Victory, Crespin, Sultana, Sehvin, Agitator. Won by four lengths, Pipi five lengths away. Phaetonitis, Crespin, Victory, Evening and Agitator fell. Time, umiu 8 3 Csec. Dividends, £13 18s and £1 7s Gd,

Selwyn Handicap, G furlongs.— Muscovite 1, Flower o' Clatha 2, Brighton 3. Also started—Petrovna, Oblivion 11., Sophistic, Repulse, Lady Soult, Ability, Manges?, Merrygo round, Gold Bangle, Martin O'Brien. Won by two and a half lengths, with Brighton one and a half length away. Time, lmin 18 -1-usec! Dividends, .£'ll 10s and £1 19s.

Final Hurdle Handicap, once round and a distance. —The Guesser 1, Moeraki 2, Hautapu 3. Also started —Spalpeen, Cavalry, Fairy Rose, Victor 11., Magnificent, and Cremona. Won by four lengths, with four lengths between Moeraki and Hautapu. Time, 3min 7 3 ssec. Dividends, £1 17s Gd and £3 18s Gd.

Hunters' Plate, H- mile.—Jolly Roger 1, Haweia 2, Brookside 3. Also started—Eurus, Early Van, Fore?, St. Reef, Plantaganet. Won by two lengths ; a similar distance between second and thtrd. Time, 2min 5-1 sec. Dividends, £5 10s Gd and £1 11s.

A total of £783 was invested on the Sydenham Hurdles and Heath - cote Handicap double, the winning tickets receiving £88 4s. The total investments for the meeting were £30,494.
