FATAL RAILWAY ACCIDENT.
(By Telegraph — Press Association), Dunedin, Last Night.
Robert Morrison, an elderly swagger, was knocked down by the express train for Christchurch, north of Palmerston, while working on the line. He was brought to Dunedin by. the Governor's special train, but died in the hospital from his injuries. The train came on the man after rounding a sharp curve, and the driver did not sea him until he was within ten yards.
