Masterton Trotting Club have fixed t October 20th as the date of the next trotting meeting, and have drawn up the following programme : — Maiden Handicap (saddle or harness), of 20 eovs ; second horse, 3 soys from stakes. One miie. Nomination, 10s; acceptance, 10s. Pony Trot (saddle or harness), of 15 soys; second horse, 1 soy. One mile and a half. Nomination, 10s; acceptance, ss. Masterton Trotting Club Handicap (saddle or harness), of 55 soys; second ■horse, 53ovs. Two miles. Nomination, 255; acceptance, 255. Borough Handicap (saddle or harness), of 2050v3; second horse, 3sovs. One mile and a-half. Nomination, 10s; acceptance, 103. Stewards' Handicap (saddle or harness), of 40 soys; second horse, 5 soys. One mile and a half. Nomination, 20s ; uceeptance, 15s. District Handicap (saddle only), of 20 soys; second horse, 2 sov3. One mile and a half. For horses that have been owned and trained in the Masterton or hi "Wairarapa Electoral District for two * months prior to the date of meeting. Nomination, 10s; acceptance, 103. Electric Handicap (saddle or harness), of 25 soys; second horse, 2 soys. One mile. Nomination, 15s; acceptance, 10a.
