Eketahuna, This Day,
The various Friendly Societies will parade to-morrow to the Presbyterian Church. The Rev. McCaw, of Pahiatua, will officiate. The service will be held in the Hall.
The high wind, with rain squalls, still continues.
Lovers of " the light fantastic" have a good time before them, the Hall being engaged for a dance for each week for nine weeks ahead. The Military Ball is booked for next Thursday, and promises to be a great success.
