PLUMBERS' ASSOCIATION.
The annual meeting of tue Masterton Plumbers' Association was held last evening, in the Foresters' Hall, Mr K. E. Jones (President) in the chair. After adopting the minutes vi last meeting, the President formally welcomed Mr A. Parton, who was then elected a member of the Association. Several apologies were received from absent members at Carterton and Eketahuna, stating that through pressure of business they were unable to attend. The balance-sheet and report were adopted as read. The President stated that the Association had every cause to be satisfied at the result of the past year's work as regards the advancement of the interests of the trade. The following office-bearers were elected:— Mr E. Jbj. Jones, President; Messrs H. Beale, S. Kingdon and A. Parton, VicePresidents ; Mr S. R. Kingdon, Secretary and Treasurer. The President and the Secretary and Treasurer were re-eiected to their respective positions.
