The French Ambassador in London has submitted to the Marquis of Lansdowne, Foreign Secretary, the AngloFrench Colonial Convention.
Some progress has been made towards settling tho Egyptian and Moroccan questions. France hesitates to surrender her definite rights in Egypt for British claims in Morocco.
The Newfoundland and West African questions are settled on a basis already cabled.
The respective positions in Siam are more clearly defined.
