ATTEMPT TO BURN A SCHOOL.

A Napier telegram, states that what was apparently a deliberate attempt was made to burn down the Frasertown school. A bundle of scrub was placed close to the south wall which was badly scorched. Owing to absence of any wind and for the dampness of the night, the building did not take fire.
