The Maorllanders in Australia. To-day's Match. Conditions Unfavourable. Ground Under Water. (Received To-day, at 12.6 a.m.) Brisbane, This Day. Conditions promise very unfavourably for the match this afternoon. Persistently steady rain has fallen during the past four days. The ground is now under water. The Queensland Union had a gang of men employed throughout the night bailing off the water. Despite the weather it is |xpected there will be a large attendance. The Governor and Lady Chermside have signified their intention to be present. The New Zealand team will be: — Wallace, Asher, R. McGregor, Stalker, Wood, Kiernan, Tyler, Udy, Fanning, Cooke, Nicholson, Spencer, Long, McMinn and Gallagher. In. consequence of the death of his father D. McGregor is not playing. Duncan ia on the injured list. The team engaged in gymnasium practice yesterday afternoon. They will leave for Maitland early on Monday morning.
