The Dublin University has conferred the 1 degree of L;L.D. on Sir Eredericls M. parley, of Sydney.
FThe Hon. Sir Frederick Matthew parley, G.C.M.G,, K.C.M.G., and X.8., has been Lieut. Governor and Chief Justice of New South Wales since 1886. He is now in his seventy-fourth year. He practised as an Irish barrister at Home fifty years go, and in New South Wales forty years ago.]
