A petition from counsel, who defended Digby Grand and Jones, will be considered at a special meeting of the Cabinet, to-day,' to consider the postponement of the execution, which is fixed for to-morrow.
. Tjie grounds of tho petition are serious allegations regarding the veracity of eyi: dence of the witness Woolford.
[This U the case in which the accused were found guilty of the murder of Constable. Long, who interrupted them in a burglary at the Aurora Hotel.]
