MASTERTON VOLUNTEER BALL.
Very complete and most elaborate arrangements have been made for tbe Masterton Bifle Volunteers' Ball to take place in tbe Drill and Town Halls tomorrow (Thursday) night, and nothing has been left undone that will in any way enhance the success of the gathering. The Volunteer Ball in previous years has been an enjoyable affair, and an effort'is being made, on this occasion, to make tho event even a greater success than heretofore. The decorations"have been carried out ih an artistic manner ; the floor has received special attention ; an efficient orchestra has been engaged to supply the music, and the supper will be set out on at elaborato scale. Tho juvenile fancy dress dance will take place on tbe following night (Friday)', and it is l ;l .e|y \o be largely attended.
