FOOTBALL.
Caledonian Club.
Thero was a good attendance of members at the general meeting of the Masterton Caledonian Association Football Club, held' in the Central Hotel, last evening. Mr B. J. Hodgins presided. The Wellington Association advised that a match with the local Club would shortly be arranged. A letter was read from Dr. Johnston, of Carterton, intimating that the writer was endeavouring to form an association football club in that town, The meeting agreed to the Committee's recommendation that the fee this season be reduced to 2s 6d per member. Messrs Crawford, Mcintosh and Lindsay were constituted a Selection Committee. It was decided to obtain prices locally for supplying the necessary uniforms. Messrs J. M. Coradine, Martin and B. J. Hodgins were accorded hearty votes of thanks for donations to the Club. New members were elected as follows;— Messrs A. P. Whatman, Egan, Lilley, P. O'Leary, McHattie, Harris, Eobertson, Brogan, Burton, Lomas, F. Hunn, A. Henderson, Waterson, Bains and Jackson.
