A loaded truck escaped this morning from a train, owing to a defective h__!;_. An engine was sent in pursuit and caught it at Hawera. Potter, a railway servant, who was down tho line on a velocipede trolly, he.'rd'the truck coming onlyjust b .fa" to jump of! The truck collided with the trolly, throwing it over' Potter _ leg. '
