Annual Meeting.

There was a good attendance of mcm- : hers at the annual meeting of the j Masterton Mounted Ititles, held last evening. Captain D. J. Camoron pro j sided. The confirmation of the election 'of olliccrs was deforred. Various committees were appointed, including Finance, Shooting and Hall Committcos. IA unanimous wish was expressed by members that a ball should bo held this year, but nothing definite was decided upon. A financial statement was read, showing that after paying oft' the amount for the uniforms, and meeting all accounts, there will bo a small credit balance. This includes tho current year's capitation. A challenge was received and accepted to fire a friendly match with tho Manricevillo Pvillo Club, and it was decided to send a team to Manricevillo on Thursday. It was resolved to lire for the trophies promised at an curly date. At the beginning of the year Captain Cameron promised to give a donation of X 4, and it was decided to allocate .C 2 for trophy shooting, and donato X'vJ to Sergeant Major Scarfc in recognition of the faithful manner in which ho has carried out his duties. Captain Cameron welcomed the return of Ijicnt. McKillop, and a minute was placed on record expressing gratification at the safe return of all members of the Masterton Mounted Ititles who went to South Africa.
