(From Our Own Correspondent). At the S.M. Court, on Monday, before W. P. James, S.M., in tho case, E.Cundy v. W. A. Donald, claim' and' bou'ntetclaini, His Worship gave judgment on each claim, showing a balance in plaintiff's favor of JE42 9s 6d.
At the monthly meeting of the Town Board, held on Monday evening, the Treasurer reported an overdraft of £56 2s 6d to General Account, and a credit of £25 9s 6d to Institute Account. The Chairman reported what had been done at the conference of delegates from local bodies in connection with the ment a sanitary inspector, arid a lution was passed agreeing with the proposals laid down by the Conference.
