The lville Association meeting oponocl at ton tins morning. For the Auckland match the entries receivcil were {Ml, or about 40 more than last year. The- arrangements all round appear very satisfactory. Additional have been erected to enablo 29 sipiads to tire. A number of minor improvements have been niiulo to remedy t.Jio defects noticeable at last meeting. LieutenantColonel Soaioi'villo is in charge of affairs, assisted by Colonel Collins. No pains have boon spared on the part of the oOicers to make the meeting a success. Tho weather is all that could bo desired, passing light clouds with but little wind.
