Waipaiva, tin's day, A coroner's inquest was held yesterday at Takapau on the body of the newly: born infant of Agnes Moran, The evidence showed that the child had lived, but apparently been smothered in some way immediately after birth; whether intentionally or not will appear in the Supreme Court. A verdict practically paramount to manslaughter has been returned. Anderson, woolscourer, has been committed for trial en a charge of arson.
