MISSIONARIES KILLED.
IN INLAND CHINA. INDEFINITE INFORMATION. (Per Press Association —Copyright) LONDON, Aug. 30. A message from Peking includes the name of Watkinson in the list of killed at Westsmiechwan, but the China Inland Mission has little doubt that it was Mr Mathewson, who, with two companions, was advised to quit Kansu in June. He chose the Thibetan route to India in preference to the one to the coast. The message merely mentions three of the four who were murdered. The absence of news of the missioners aroused the fear that they are the victims. Mr Mathewson was going- home.
