WAIMATE POST OFFICE.
NEW YEAR HOLIDAYS Friday, 31st December. —In addition to the usual postmen’s deliveries a farther delivery of all correspondence will be arranged at the counter from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday. Ist January (New Year’s Day).—Open for telegiaph business only 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. (Double rates). All outward mails close 7.30 a.m. Street receiving boxes cleared 6.30 a.m. The telephone exchange will be open continuously.
