WAIMATE POST OFFICE.

CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR HOLIDAYS. Friday. 24th. December.—A delivery of all correspondence will be made at the counter, 7 p.m to fl p.m. Saturday. 25 th. December (Christmas Day)-— A- close holiday, no mails despatched or received. Monday, 27th December (Boxing Day).—Open for telegraph business only, 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.; double rates charged. All outward mails close 7.30 a.m. Street receiving boxes cleared 6.30 a.m. No delivery of correspondence by the ppstman or over the Counter. Friday, 31st December.—ln addition to the usual postmen’s deliveries a further delivery of ail ccrreßpondence wiH be arranged at the counter from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday. Ist January (New Year’s Day).—Open for telegraph business only 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. (Double rates). All outward mails close 7.30 a.m. Street receiving boxes cleared 6.30 a.m. The telephone exchange will be open continuously.
