HOOK. (Our Own Correspondent). The annual break-up ceremony, together with the sports meeting, in connection with the Hook School, •was held on Tuesday afternoon and -was attended by a large gathering of parents and friends. Mr J. Bitchener, M.P , and Mr W. Seward, chairman of the School Committee, addressed those present. Afternoon tea was handed round tty the ladies, and a very enjoyable afternoon was spent. The sports events were very keenly contested and were much enjoyed by all. Mrs Bitchener presented the pupils with their prizes which were awarded as follows: — 5.6. —Pearl Peck 1, Mary Barbour 2, Jack Rathgen 3. Class prizes. Grace Haynes, Cyril Peck.
