BRISTOL CUP COMPETITION WAIMATE DEFEATS TIMARU The Waimate Bowling Club successfully staved off the challenge of the Timaru’ Club for the Bristol Cup on Saturday, winning the match by thirty-seven points. The Timaru team put up a good fight and won three rinks, one by 22 points, but some of their rinks fared very badly which told on the final score.
