THE YEAR'S CONSLAIPTION. ran PBESS ASSOCIATION —COPYRIGHT WASHINGTON, Nov. 19 The Prohibition Bureau announced that chemists’ shops, upon physicians’ subscriptions permitted under the law, dispensecl 1,36’9,862 gallons of spirits and 30,752 gallons of wine during the fiscal year of 1923. This was the American consumption of alcohol for medicinal purposes.
