WAREHOUSE ROBBERIES
PERPETRATORS ARRESSTED. DETECTIVES BUSY. By Electric- Telegraph—Copyright. Sydney, this day. The police have been recently successfully busy in tracking down the perpetrators of city warehouse robberies.
On Saturday evening three detectives were returning in a car with an arrested prisoner at whose house they had discovered 30,000 cartridges and tw o guns, when they saw men removing cloth from the rear of Craig’s tailoring premises in Sussex street into a motor. Leaving their car and prisoner in charge of the driver, the detectives rushed the robbers, and secured two. They captured a third after a long chase, in which they twice fired upon the fugitive. , --
They secured £lOOO worth of goods which the robbers had got ready for removal.
