SATES OF POSTAGE. Letters and Letter Cards. Inland. —2d for the first 2oz or fraction thereof, and Id for each additional 2oz or fraction thereof. (Note —“Inland” includes the islands in the Pacific annexed to New Zealand and Western Samoa (Savaii Islands and Upolu Islands)). Under this system provision is made for the transmission of such telegrams between any two telegraph offices in the Dominion subject to the following conditions: The rate is to be 1/6 for first 36 words er fraction thereof, and Jd for each word in excess of that number. Night letter telegrams will be accepted for thansmission throughout the day up to one hour of the time of closing i of either the office of origin or des- j tinatioh, whichever is the earlier, i Thus ,a message either to or from i an office ©losing at 5 p.m. must not ■ be accepted later than 4 p.m. Such I telegrams are to be transmitted to ! the office of destination throughout ■ the day as opportunity offers.
