UPPER SILESIA.
o POLISH BANDS ACTIVE. Per Pres-J Association—Copyright. BERLIN, August 10. A message from' Breslau reports that Polish bands crossed the frontier near Roeberg, 'but were driven back after a fight with the police and British troops, in which the latter suffered casualties. Paris, yesterday. It is reported that the Silesian boundary experts have practically reached an agreement. They propose a frontier following generally th eline suggested by Sforza, but giving Zaborza to Germany, Beuthen to Poland, whdreas France is trying to secure Zaborza for Poland and Great Britain wants Germany to have Beuthen.
The Supreme Couhcil ended in a deadlock on the Upper Silesia question, and the British are returning to London forthwith.
