WAIMATE COUNTY COUNCIL. pUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that in accordance with the Counties’ Act, 1920, sections 120 and 121/The Rating Act, 1908, and other Acts amending the same, it is the intention of the Waimate County Council at a meeting to be held on Wednesday, the 24th day of August, 1921, to make and levy separately the following General Rates on the Unimproved Value of all rateable property appearing in the Valuation Rolls now in force for the Waimate County for the year commencing the first day of April, 1921, and ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1922. Upper Pareora Riding: A General Rate of 13-20ths of a penny in the pound. Lower Pareora Riding: A General Rate of 11-20ths of a penny in the pound. Otaio Riding: A General Rate of one half-penny in the pound. Makikihi Riding: A General Rate of 11-20ths of a penny in the pound. Deep Creek Riding: A Genera! Rate of 11-20ths of a penny in the pound. Waihao Riding: A General Rate of 13-20ths .of a penny in the pound. Hakataramea Riding: A General Rate of 13-20ths of a penny in the pound. And in accordance with the provisions of the Hospital and Charitable Institutions Act, 1909, and amendments thereto, a Rate of five-six-teenths of a penny in the pound on the Capital Value of all rateable property appearing on the Valuation Rolls now in force for the Waimate County Council for the year commencing on the first day of April, 1921, and ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1922. Such rates to be due and payable in one sum on the first day of October, 1921, at the office of the Waimate County Council, Queen Street, Waimate. , The Valuation Roll and Rate Book are open for inspection by ratepayers at the Waimate .County Council Office during office hours.
