The Senate has passed a “bone-dry” | amendment prohibiting shipments ot liquor into States already having prohibition. This makes absolutely dry fifteen more States which now allow importations of liquor in limited quantities. A total of twenty-two States, comprising one third of the area of tho United States will hereafter be absolutely dry.
