A meeting of the meat trades have opened a subscription for the British Rod Cross Society of the Order of St. Job n.

A representative committee wag appointed, of which Gordon Campbell is chairman, Lord Whitbrosgh vice chairman and Harold Nelson and A. B. Reid of Yonll’s represent the colonies. Subscriptions of £3OOO were announced at the meeting.

The committee is appealing to the meat trade of the world, and especially to Australian and New Zealand graziers.
